Fifth Member Joins Brunson Ten
For those who have been excited to discover who Doyle Brunson will pick to fill the Brunson 10, the suspense is easing. Another seat has been filled. This seat isn’t being filled by a newcomer by any means. Instead, it is poker pro Alex AJKHoosier1 Kamberis. He’ll be taking part in the $25,000 buy-in High Roller Bounty Shootout event which is part of the North American Poker Tour, and will take place at the Venetian.
For the last several months, Kamberis hasn’t been around very much. He did play at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure recently, but he says that he plans to be around much more in the future. “I was on hiatus last year, taking it easy. This year I’m going to be everywhere though. I’m going to LA after this and Monte Carlo after that. I’m coming back. Online, live, everything. I’m going to remind people that I can play.”
Kamberis brings the team members up to a group of five, meaning the there are still five more places to fill. Doyles Room players hoping to make it to the pros should look for the bounty tournaments on Wednesdays at 9:30pm ET each week. Tonight’s bounty pros are Doyle Brunson, Pam Brunson, and Mike Caro. Knock out all three, and you’ll win $50,000 even if you don’t win the tournament. Buy-ins are $27.50. First time depositors get the full buy-in price back, win or lose.
