Paypal Poker Deposits Temporarily Unavailable

paypal-poker-sitesUpdate June 11th 2009 – Paypal is back and up running at all paypal poker sites including LuckyAce, Party Poker, and Betfair.  William Hill, Ladbrokes, Bwin, and Victor Chandler also accept Paypal poker deposits.
We have yet to confirm this but news is just breaking that Paypal is possibly rejecting deposits at Paypal poker sites that previously allowed paypal poker deposits. We are working on confirming this, and hope it turns out to be just a rumor or a tempory setback. In the short term, UK poker players can deposit at poker sites with Ukash, or use another poker e-wallet like Moneybookers.
We hope to confirm this report yet tonight, as at this point it must be noted that it’s simply a rumor, but a reputable source is claiming he was told after being rejected at both BetFair and PaddyPower.
This would be an odd move by Paypal in our belief, although not a big suprise.  Paypal has long had a love hate relationship with online poker and Paypal Casino Deposits.  The suprisingly part of this story is that Paypal has recently been allowing more poker sites that accept Paypal to advertise the fact, and it’s too bad because this is one of the better poker deposit options available to players from the UK and Canada.
It is also uncomfired whether this affects Paypal poker depositing players outside of the UK, if anyone would like to share info please don’t hesitate to contact us at PokerDepositOptions (at) Gmail.com
Paypal has become extremely popular as a quick way of funding online poker site accounts.  While sites like BetFair and Ladbrokes have been accepting Paypal deposits for awhile now, recently Ongame Network leader Bwin and the new 888 Network site LuckyAce Poker added Paypal as a payment processor for both depositing and cashing out.  William Hill as and PaddyPower Poker also accepted Paypal, but this is all evidently unavailable as of June 9th, 2009.  We’ll update this post as developments occur.
Poker Deposit Options is actively seeking alternatives for players used to depositing with Paypal.
