Big Changes for UseMyBank
If you’ve enjoyed using UseMyBank to make your online poker deposits then you’re in for some suprises. First, they’re changing their name to UseMyServices. Don’t worry, though. Their service will still be just as easy to use and just as nice. The product itself will still be called UseMyBank, so you won’t necessarily see the change. You’ll still be able to use your own bank account without letting the online poker site have access to your sensitive banking information. If you’re from Australia, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, or Poland and you haven’t tried out UseMyBank, your country was added to the community in 2009. Mexican users will be added in the first quarter of 2010!
Players who have gotten used to UseMyBank will be happy to know that UseMyServices will be extending their uses to a lot of other fields. They will be offering a service called UseMyWidget which will allow sites to create their own branded payment solution. This may become a deposit method for online poker rooms in the future, but that remains to be seen.
